The Story behind the name..

2007 was an amazing year for me for 2 reasons.

Not only had I spent a year training to be a qualified reflexologist which to this day, I am still SO proud of being but it was the year I stumbled upon Rahanni Celestial Healing.

Two fab treatments in their own right but I wanted to mix things up a bit further so with Carol Stacey's (Founder of Rahanni) blessing, I began offering this combination in my role as a holistic therapist. In a nutshell, Reflexology treats the person. We do not treat symptoms or existing conditions that the client comes to us with. Our aim in this treatment, is that by relaxing the person deeply, their body will be so relaxed that it calms down enough to work on what it needs to (ie the imbalances throughout the body) rather than just concentrating on removing stress and its symptoms. Although I have to say, reflexology is rather good at the latter too!

Rahanni Celestial healing, whilst an ancient healing system, it is in fact a high vibrational healing energy brought to Earth to help us all with the transitional changes happening on Earth and also within ourselves (at a consciousness level).

Rahanni works on healing the emotional heart (heart center) so we are able to work more from our heart center, rather than just our head. When we spend too much time in our heads and minds, we can become trapped in the illusions of our EGO (we can feel, judged, persecuted, paranoid, "got at", punished, betrayed etc.) Rahanni helps you put things into focus and perspective. We become calmer and have time to consider things rather than going "on the attack" Bringing these two wonderful treatments together, offers a deeper healing space, promoting peace, calm, reflection, healing, a more methodical approach to life and generally feeling better which in turn results in happier self, relationships, work and life balance and also brings the opportunities to release emotional blockages and unforgiveness (we are far more peaceful when we choose to forgive). We need far more peace in the world and it starts within us. Making people feel cared for in my role has made me realise how complementary therapy can support people in so many ways.
