Roll away the tension

Kerry at Rahanni-Reflex

For a few weeks now, I have been using a gua sha tool to help promote feelings of relaxation and wellbeing to my face. Yes you heard correctly! I am over 4o now and noticed a rapid increase i wrinkly smiles all over my face which whilst I like to think I am growing old gracefully, my EGO is shouting "Nooooo" constantly! lol

I happen to do a short CPD course combing reflexology and crystal healing which I am already qualified in and was introduced to these beautiful crystal tools for use on the feet. Upon further research, I discovered gua sha tools. Beautiful crystals in a roller ball fashion to massage over my face. I bought rose quartz, it's cooling which is great for tension headaches and I can't believe how easy and gentle they are to use. Why didn't I discover these before!?!

Oh boy.. It's like being stroked very gently on the face (like your mum or dad did when you were a toddler). It promotes relaxation and may induce sleepiness so make sure you have your head and shoulders supported.

However, the main point of the tools are to help reduce fine wrinkles and a good yet very gentle massage for the face muscles. It's amazing how tense these can get. Particularly the head, upper jaw and eye muscles. Most tools purchased come with brief instructions which are very easy to use! Once you start using them, there is no going back, they are so soothing!

I will definitely be incorporating them into my crystal treatments along with the other crystal tools which i use. Simple DIY techniques you can do for yourself and make a lovely gift for a loved one.
